Well....that is not good then because 1.7.4 was useless for a number of people. The app would crash over and over right after take off. It was 100% unusable. This was on the RC Pro remote for myself. Went back to 1.7.0 and it was perfect again. Any updates from others make the jump yet?

On a lake with low/no wide and no current you can land on the boat. If you have a drift due to wind of if you are on saltwater with a tide/current running you will always want to hand catch the drone, especially on a boat with a small landing zone/area. It also helps to have someone at the helm...

I bought the RC Pro for the dimming issue on my iPhone and it has been a game changer. I have the 14 Pro on order but I fear that 2k brightness will only last a few minutes in the high noon sun on the water. It will be interesting to see, no pun intended!

You can repair/replace, however given the 'odd' take off happened twice it is bound to happen again. I think you need to address what is causing the take off to be 'faulty' or you will be back in this same situation again soon.

Ok....so I know I can't zoom in D-Log, only under Normal, and only under 4k or below, etc. So....If I am recording at 4k @ 30FPS and zoom in using the wheel, what does that do to my resolution? Will it still be 4k or will it be reduced. I'm assuming it is just cropping what is on the sensor...

Yes, I am and have been using the Studio Drivers. With the new 3060 card I can make a lot of adjustments/changes and it plays smooth.

I'm running the paid (studio) version. I was with the 1060 and now the 3060. Apples to apples as they say.

My graphics drivers are and always have been up-to-date with the old 1060 and the new 3060. The 1060 just does not have the power to handle 5.4k files, not any enhancements to lower res files. Not surprising at the 1060 was released about 6 years ago.

So....I went ahead an upgraded my 6GB 1060 to a 12GB 3060 the other day, and wow, what a huge difference! Even using my 'old' MPP 4k files if I tried to play the video with any noise reduction or sharpening it would be un-watchable in Davinci Studio. Not only can the new 3060 handle the above...

No, the generic initial low battery alarm. A while after that alarm then it should do what you mentioned above, neither of which happened today. I have never not received these alarms, and given the distance I was, I should have, especially since I have received them a lot closer.
