You either need the password or have to go into apple to have them unlock it BUT, they don't just unlock it. You have to know the email and security questions. They also run the serial numbers to check if it's stolen. I went through all that when I forgot the email password and it locked me out.
As far as Craigslist goes, when I bought a couple of ipads on CL, I met both sellers at the local Apple store and they checked the tablets for me so I had piece of mind.
EBay is impossible to do that.

Yep, I've watched a bunch of YT vids with pointers for newbies.
1) up 30' to calibrate home base
2) remove sensor protection tape from ALL sensors
3) remove BOTH gimble protectors.
I fixed my location info.
At first I thought all the lost signals and drone losing was just because they were first batch issues but I'm still seeing complaints of lost drones bought this past July!!! Really?
