I've used three different phones, an old Samsung Galaxy S8, until the battery completely died, I have DJI Fly installed on my S22 Ultra, but have purchased a Samsung A22 5G for £130 solely for use as a controller, and it works great.

Have flown with this attached a couple of times without issue, but not for very far. Thanks for the suggestion about the map, I'll be sure to take another look before I fly tomorrow, and I'll take a look at those threads too - just to be on the safe side. :)
