I'm getting the same "Remote ID Error" message as you did, and not wanting to hook my phone to the Goggles 2 I'm looking for a solution or workaround. If you or anyone else finds one could you please let me know. Thanks.

Has anyone tried an HDMI cable from the RC Pro controller to the Goggles 2 and get the goggles to work while flying with the RC Pro controller on the Mavic 3?

I loved the video, so much so that I wish I had the money to afford a boat like that.

I just ordered the Goggles 2 and Controller 2 for $799 from DJI yesterday, they have a special going on so I took advantage of it. Taxes and shipping costs are included in the $799 price. Looking forward to getting them soon.
