Hi Donald,
thanks for the kind feedback. I haven't actually used the code since I posted... glad someone else finds my effort useful, it was just a one-off for me!
srt_tag.py parses the properties by name, so having more properties shouldn't upset things as you state.

I've added a tutorial with some scripts I wrote to process videos into geotagged images for use in photogrammetry: How to extract geotagged frames from video for use in photogrammetry
Hi all,
This might be useful to some of you wanting to do photogrammetry from videos you've taken with your drones and prepare them for processing with a service like WebODM. This creates excellent orthophotos, point clouds, and 3D models from your scenes.
This is not point and click, this is...
I think I sort of managed to work around these issues now. Here's what I do:
I fly to the starting point, camera down, heading in the direction I want the first leg to go, then move sideways to the desired overlap. Camera forward so I see where I'm going, then I fly backwards a few seconds...
I flew numerous test missions using these methods.
Let's call the first leg of the grid the upwind leg, the second the crosswind leg, the third the downwind leg. Creates a U shaped track with an extended lower part of the U to create the 75% overlap between the upwind and downwind track.

Using Mavic 3 with RC Pro, creating waypoints unfortunately seems to create a smooth path through all the waypoints, making it in essence unusable to fly a grid for photogrammetry.
Is there a setting I'm missing to turn the smoothing off?
How do you create waypoints? with the Mavic 3 (standard or cine)? I have both of those with an RC Pro controller. I recently started doing photogrammetry and would kill to have the option to fly waypoints rather than manually fly a grid! I thought waypoints were a feature for the RTK /...
