Figured I would follow up on this. I've been using the Air 3 for the past couple of months and it's doing awesome for roof inspections. It handles wind really well and is very stable. The zoom lens is great too.

That's good to know. The controller doesn't matter if that's the case.

I get that the RC2 is the better option for just flying the drone. However for my intended use of taking roof/chimney photos for inspections and snapping photos that need to go into my iPhone's gallery, is the N2 possibly the better option? I'm unsure of the work-flow to get photos from the RC2...

As long as the air is a "good size" that will work for me. The only reason I was thinking about the mini 4 pro was that it would be quieter, but I'd rather have the zoom and wind stability.

I'm about to get my FAR Part 107 license and get a Mavic for inspecting house roofs that are too steep or dangerous to walk on. What's the best model for this? Is the air 3 good enough? Or should I get the heavier pro? I think I want the telephoto lens for getting up close pics of gutters...
