I still fly my MP...7 years old and still going strong. Its still on FW version 01.04.0000 which has limited restrictions, and works great with Litchi.

I still use 01.04.0000, I never upgraded. When I did use DJI software (now I use Litchi), it was DJI GO4 App 4.1.15...I had no problems.

If I understand this problem, you have tried multiple cables and multiple phones and still cannot get phone connected to the RC. Maybe something wrong with your RC. Are you the original owner? Have you EVER been able to connect phone to RC successfully, or is this a new issue....

Anecdotal evidence here. Many moons ago my HTC phone went through an entire cycle in my washing machine....wash, rinse, spin...the whole deal. 1 week in a ziploc bag of rice worked...phone was good as new.
