engines wont run

Hello Pilots, Mechanics and Techs, I borrowed a mavic pro from a friend. He never used it once. I jumped on this forum and learnt a lot about it. Right now I am stuck at. No engines spin up. Also the hand RC never says "Ready to Fly". All batteries full, Controller links to drone, lights all...
