UAV Forecast app is dead - Unless you want to pay!
An app that me, and probably many of you were using for a long time - UAV Forecast, today updated and stopped showing local weather info unless you upgrade to a subscription. UAV Forecast good or not so much?
Hi everybody. I am a new drone pilot and I subscribed to the UAV Forecast app (basic) but I am somewhat disappointed in it and I am not sure if I can trust its forecasts. Don't get me wrong. Why is "Cloud Cover" a factor in decision to fly?
I use UAV Forecast and see cloud cover as a factor, independent of GPS Satellites locked. I'm wondering what the problem is regarding CC? If I have 15-18 satellites locked but 90-95% cc, why is that a problem? Is it just VLOS or is there something more regarding control of the drone?- gjmphoto
