01.01.0600 firmware for M3P

One more question... If I get this new unit, and hook it up to the internet, it will likely check for new updates... Will it still fly if I don't perform them? With my mavic 2 pro, I have older firmware, and it complains every time I fire it up, but it still flies fine... Just dont want to brick this second one as well!
It will fly just fine. If you do not need any of the benefits or new features introduced in newer FWs, do not update

Awesome thanks!! I just had this scenario flash in my mind of opening this new one up and taking it for a fly, then connecting to the internet to upload the logs and have it say “update needed” and brick. I would not be a happy camper to say the least lol

Would be cheaper to make a Dji claim but it's your money.

Final update: New bird arrived, had 0500 on it for firmware. Hacked and all is good now! Thanks again for the ideas folks.
One of the best ways to get old FW is through Refresh or new stock, which is never updated after manufacture, especially on older models manufactured long ago.
