No is correct. 1.6 W would have the FCC on their case.

O.K.- I read somewhere, and I thought it was on these forums, about the last firmware update having a 1.6w increase. Maybe it was on No Limited Drones or YouTube...

Is there a chance u can overheat the remote with this upgrade . Have any reports of burned up remote been reported?

Because this upgrade does not really exist I doubt it’s gonna overheat anything.

I'm on the latest firmware and boosted my M2P with NLD... no issues.

I have been using the boost mod for years on a MP never ever overheated I live in sw Florida..
