-2.0 EV in manual mode

It seems as though my ev in manual mode is preset or stuck on -2.0
Similar to how you would set the auto exposure in Auto mode.
I can adjust my manual settings to match the auto settings exactly and when I switch back and forth you can see that the manual mode is much darker because it seems to be locked at -2.0.

Can somebody please help me with this?

Tell us what the settings are in each mode (M vs Auto) for a given scene.

I have exact same problem which only happened after I started using manual settings for photo's.
If I use manual settings it is stuck with -2.0 EV, and no matter what I do I can't change this setting.
If I set it back to auto then EV changes to 0.0 EV.

If it’s darker in manual mode you need to reduce your shutter speed or increase your ISO. If you check carefully you will find the settings don’t match. They can’t.
