I was pretty much box standard settings, with no filters either. I guess the only thing I do is knock the EV value down a little, and (try to) always lock the exposure. Sorry I can't be of more help!

Just got round to watching it - lovely stuff!

Very nice, dynamic, upbeat, really like it. One thing that annoys me in my similar footage is the totally blue shadows on distant mountains on sunny days, e.g. at 1:56mins of your clip etc.

I use Davinci Resolve's "Hue vs Sat" option to select and desaturate these blue shadows, I'm sure you can do it in other software too

Thanks - I hadn't really noticed it, but now you mention it, its really visible.
Do you have any videos of your footage once you've sorted it? Could you send me a link?
