I think our videos are much more in depth when it comes to flying in the Rain.

Some of my Favorites : out of 225 videos

What's great about the Forum is you can search to see if any of the Clients that have the Wet Suits have ever posted over the last 3 years about Corrosion .

Now what is really interesting and came as a surprise was that Smart Controller that i have used in almost every flight in the rain with no protection over the last 3 years when opened up showed no signs of any Corrosion .

The guy who installed the Alien Dual Antennas made a post on it.
Thanks for your continued Interest in the Wet Suit and Rescue Jackets.

The Wetsuit acts as a protective barrier against the elements as well as making your drone highly visible depending on the color you choose to install. I went with the Black-Red, combination . My battery covers are black whereas the front and back of the drone are red. Some parts of the adhesive do not stick completely. Even after one flight, the adhesive comes off partially in some areas. Therefore, I am forced to constantly have to inspect every crevice and angle of the drone before and after a flight especially the battery cover itself. If you remove any of the sticky strips, they will leave a fine layer of adhesive on the drone itself which can be cleaned with an alcohol prep pad.

You won't be able to use any LED Strobe Light attachment clips (from third party vendors), as the added PhantomRain strips for the arms will beef up the drone a bit; so don't bother the 3D printed attachment clips; unless you modify and cut the strips which would kind of defeat the purpose of protection. The same goes with attaching Velcro, in which the Velcro doesn't adhere well with these Neoprene covers.

As I haven't flown in the rain yet, for now this is a really expensive skin overlay, but having that added layer gives a peace of mind if the drone does come in contact in wet weather, also increases visibility from a distance away. So far, no interference with onboard sensors. The neoprene layer adds a little cushioning too while the drone is in transit, or low altitude orbit and should it decide to fall from the sky. Can't predict, but at least again you will have some peace of mind and no sense of false security.

Think of it similar to a phone case, screen protector, etc., offering some level of protection. Also after three recent flights, the batteries were cool to touch, within tolerance in-spite of the vents on the side of the drone being partially occluded. I still have two sets, I'm sticking with red and black.

For now, I'm still neutral on this product, wish the adhesive would have been more sticky though and not arrive a little dried out on the corners.

Couple things you can do if you have a hot spot that wont take adhesion.

You can ask to have a new part sent so you can reapply it the longer you hold pressure the more the adhesion will take place.

The other is just to get some spray glue , and spray the part before putting it back on.

You also do not want to clean your drone with a Alcohol pad as it will break down the adhesion.
any remaining adhesive just comes off with some goo gone , wipes clean.

If its raining take the time to seal the Perimeter of the battery , but just remember to not leave that battery in to long or you will really struggle getting it out.

Thank you Coal for the advice :D Really appreciate it, I have to say that this does give me a peace of mind knowing that the drone is protected against the elements to some extent :) Any suggestions how I should mount the Strobe Lights?
