3 ft cable anchor

For lack of a better description how do you retain the extra cord length when using a iPad? Is it ok to hang over the antenna mount on a MA2?

I have draped excess cable over the antenna pivots of a Phantom 3's GL300 controller and am not aware of it causing any radio connection problems but I don't think I had 3ft to deal with.

It just coils off to the side, in a few loops, next to and below the iPad Lightning port. It is not a problem at all. Just put a tie wrap loosely around it, to keep it coiled.

I starting to lean towards a ipad mini I think for a display so my wife can have here ipad back while I'm flying. Not sure how limiting the 32 gb version would be for the MA2. It will only be used for flying but I'm thinking along the lines of 64 gb. Could anyone fill me in on what capacity they would suggest.

My 32gb is fine. I even use a 16gb for flight only mini 4.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll be using a sd card anyway so not much memory will be used except for the flight recordings.
