Cool! Can you please tell us how do you do that?
I just figured it out today after reading on this forum.
I downloaded an app onto my phone called hangar 360 from the app store. It is free.
This app is super easy to use. It did force me to update to the latest mavic firmware. After i did that, i simply fired up the mavic, waited for gps, and opened the hangar app instead of DJI go.
The hangar app launches the drone, automatically takes it to 300 feet, it takes 23? photos, all at various angles, then auto lands. A couple easy on screen prompts to transfer the files to my device, then to upload them to hangar.
I don't think this subject matter was particularly interesting....but the technology is amazing to me.
*edit to add* you have the option to exit the app and fly it with the controller, or to switch into sport mode, then fly with the controller.
