We finally got an update for the Fly app on our RC2, which fixes the “P Mode showing for N Mode” issue and, more importantly, the lag that many people were having. I personally wasn’t having the lag, it was taking about 40 seconds to load with the aircraft on, same as it always had, but that time has reduced to an even shorter 26 seconds! Awesome!

However, there appears to be a new issue now. The 360 Degree Photo Viewer tool in the Gallery, which was a great tool that allowed viewing of 360 degree panos and taking screenshots of various views, has been broken. Now, pressing the “360 Photo Viewer” button in the Gallery only shows an error that the RC does not support the viewing of panoramas… what the heck?

I know for a fact it used to show 360 panoramas without issue and allow it to be manipulated with different views, etc. before this latest update.

You can still view them using the aircraft album, hence you need to have your drone powered on and connected. (DJI RC for me)

That’s still a downgrade to how it was before though. Before the update, panoramas downloaded to the RC2 from the drone could be viewed perfectly.
They released another firmware update for the RC2 on June 27, which I hope has fixed the problem they created, but I haven’t checked yet.

Judging by the message, I'd say support for the feature has been withdrawn rather than it's broken.

This leaves little hope it will return.
