Is there any software that I could use to import my Mavic Air 2 footage and get it to do 3d mapping? I don't want to put a lot into it and I am not ready to buy that expensive of a drone yet lol.
DJI has not released the SDK for the Air 2 so software developers are not able to make software that works with the Air 2 as yet.Is there any software that I could use to import my Mavic Air 2 footage and get it to do 3d mapping? I actually saw that article last night but I am still unsure if I could import my pictures/video from my A2 and make them 3d. I apologize if this seems like a trivial question, but I am extremely new to all this.
There are two stages in using mapping apps.I actually saw that article last night but I am still unsure if I could import my pictures/video from my A2 and make them 3d. I apologize if this seems like a trivial question, but I am extremely new to all this.
I use Agisoft Metashape. It takes multiple photos flown in a cross pattern to create amazing 3D images. Not sure about what your "footage." If "video" footage, you are out of luck there. I am tempted to create multiple images using the 45 wayhpoints and 2 seconds per shot and hoping I get enough overlap. With DroneDeploy, not yet available on MA2, the overlap between photos is about 75 or 80% to get the 3D effect. Is there any software that I could use to import my Mavic Air 2 footage and get it to do 3d mapping?
