4 Peregrine Falcons Attack my Mini 4 Pro

Stunning video! Were you flying opposite direction of the camera during this confrontation with the birds?

Speaking of birds of prey, tonight while taking out the trash I hear some birds right above me making a lot of noise. There was two birds harassing a Bald Eagle as it flew overhead. I was stunned. I've seen smaller birds do that to a large bird of prey before, but a Bald Eagle? He didn't seem too concerned about the pesky little varmints though and just flew along with his escorts, 🤣.

Incredible capture! They clearly could have taken out the Mini 4 Pro if they wished to. They appear more curious about checking out the little guy, than threatened by it. Likely juveniles? As others have noted, they attack from above, rather than by chasing down prey or chasing down perceived threats. For the most part, they were following you from beneath, or behind, although a couple of times they approached from above and then stopped just short of making physical contact. The Air 3S might have been perceived as more of threat. Lucky all the way around. The Mini 4 Pro lives on to record more such encounters.

Oh man, ravens vs bald eagles. What great fun to watch because ravens like to tease them by sneaking up from behind and plucking at their tail feathers!

I believe that's what they were. They were to the side and rear. I wish I would have been in the air the the lucky OP.;)

Wow, you were lucky, their coloration shows that they are young birds, their chase was more curiosity than aggression, if your hit by a falcon, it will 98% of the time be from above.
Fantastic filming.

We have seen this on the Alafia River when getting near a tree one was nested in. It made two passes but did not touch it.
Remember, the drone can climb much faster than a bird of prey. So if in real trouble go up fast and a sharp turn away from them.
Here is the location. https://shorturl.at/ZCe0k

If it had been an attack, instead of a mere investigation by juveniles, there wouldn’t be any 4K video of it, and it would have been over after the first falcon attacked it. Still a very cool video of falcons chasing a drone. One of a kind.
