Speaking of birds of prey, tonight while taking out the trash I hear some birds right above me making a lot of noise. There was two birds harassing a Bald Eagle as it flew overhead. I was stunned. I've seen smaller birds do that to a large bird of prey before, but a Bald Eagle? He didn't seem too concerned about the pesky little varmints though and just flew along with his escorts, .
Incredible capture! They clearly could have taken out the Mini 4 Pro if they wished to. They appear more curious about checking out the little guy, than threatened by it. Likely juveniles? As others have noted, they attack from above, rather than by chasing down prey or chasing down perceived threats. For the most part, they were following you from beneath, or behind, although a couple of times they approached from above and then stopped just short of making physical contact. The Air 3S might have been perceived as more of threat. Lucky all the way around. The Mini 4 Pro lives on to record more such encounters.
