Yes it was... she was visiting PR with her friend and took a plane ride to the nearby island to spend the day with her friend and her friend's dad .. on the way to the island the engine got on fire ... the pilot did the best he could turned off that engine but lost control of the plane ...
So sad to hear about this. From the title of your thread here, I kinda expected to hear another one of those "look how some idiot with a drone has caused another problem for us" thread. Glad it wasn't caused by a drone taking down the plane.
Nope ... we use our drones to help us plan the extraction. They help us determine what type of equipment we need to use for the casualty... and to get approval from the Coastguard , NOA and local agencies.. they are an essential part of our equipment
