a couple questions regarding sec 107 license

i just got into the drone world a month ago with and have been making videos as a creative outlet and stills. Im currently registered as a hobbyist. Ive been posting these on my instagram account and have approached by our locol county tourism board and my city's chamber for use of my drone video and images.

Im considering getting a commercial license but have a couple questions
1. Iicense is good for 2 years. Do u have to take test every 2 years or just pay the $150
2. Waivers, are these per planned shoot or good for a length of time or for length of yourlicens. Ie say i want to get a waiver to fly above 400'. Is that only good for just one point in time? Seems really hard to schedule that considering 90 day review

Waivers are a very involved process...start with this page:
Request a Part 107 Waiver

Waivers are generally good for up to 2 years (if you request that timeframe).
