Im planing to buy the mavic 3 pro.
Im from sweden and it says i need license to fly it, but is that really true?

Will it still be able to lift if I dont have a license?

I have had a mini 3 for 2 years now and know how to fly a drone.

It is not a "driver's license" they are referring to. It's license to fly your drone in Sweden Airspace. Google, flying my drone in Sweden requirments

I don't really know about sweden BUT like the US its probably a simple test you take on line.

There should be nothing stopping you from flying any sized drone.

If I understand your question correctly, the simple A1/A3 online test allows you to legitimately fly any drone. Where you fly that drone (regardless of whether it's a Neo, or a Mavic 3 Pro) is determined by the weight of the drone.

EASA rules for simple drone users are classed as 'Open Category' which is split into 3 sub-categories based on weight (MTOM).

A1 is for drones weighing less than 250 grams.

A2 and A3 are regulations for bigger drones.

A1 is for flights close to people, buildings, urban and built up areas.

Bigger drones are A3 sub-category - which can only be flown far away from people, buildings or built up areas.

You can pay for an A2 certificate (A2CofC) which relaxes the A3 rules and allows more flight freedom if you have one of the heavier drones.... but not by much.
