I've created another instruction set for creating a new data type for which I wanted to use in a new custom gauge. I wanted to show the camera gimbal pitch during flight but the only gimbal pitch data column in the data profile displayed 3 whole numbers with no decimals. It was incorrectly formatted so I figured out how to create a new data type based on the old data type and display the Mavic's gimbal pitch correctly.
If you're interested in using this document, you'll need to refer to my first document in regard to creating a custom gauge. I didn't repeat that information here.
I hope this is helpful to someone. More tutorials to come as I learn myself.
In the shot below I also added Pitch, Roll & Yaw because those data types were already in the data profile.
