A wifes view of drones for xmas

  1. Invite her to go on a shopping spree and then just go get the drone yourself
  2. Tell her your friend gave it to you
  3. Just outright lie and tell her your M2 cost $100
Love your way of thinking but this would be what happens to me.

1. Invite her to go on a shopping spree and then just go get the drone yourself = she would check the bank balance then kill me.

2. Tell her your friend gave it to you = she wouldn’t believe me, check the bank balance & again kill me.

3. Just outright lie and tell her your M2 cost $100 = still wouldn’t believe me again, check the bank balance, yep you got it.. kill me.

When she asks how much things cost for my drone hobby I always round the price down to the nearest £/$ sooo she knows me to well, hence why she wouldn’t believe me on the questions above.

Sooooo the moral to this story is, don’t lie, you will get found out one way or another, sh## scared of the wife when it comes to money:oops::oops:

Keep them sweet, pamper them, tell them how much you love um, o_O that might work, well it might..:)

I know a few shops (reptile shops and ham radio shops in particular) that will happily do you a wife receipt for the amount you told her it cost.

I go with another option-either don’t tell her at all or pretend it’s something I’ve had for ages :)

Great video. Other options than showing your wife this video and letting her buy you one would be:
  1. Invite her to go on a shopping spree and then just go get the drone yourself
  2. Tell her your friend gave it to you
  3. Just outright lie and tell her your M2 cost $100

In my case, I told my wife I was gonna spend $300 on a phantom....but ended up buying the mavic for $1,000, thinking she might not even notice.

The bank called my wife minutes after the purchase to verify it wasn’t fraud. She started to say no, we didn’t spend $1,000 in china....but I was shaking my head yes, then the lightening began flashing in her eyes.

Your mileage may vary.

Ooooh. Busted! Sorry to hear that.

Is “it’s my money, I earned it and I will spend it however I want” not a valid excuse once you get married? Asking for a friend...

That might work if the drone buying spouse makes more money than the other. These days, many wives who hate drones make more money than their husbands.

Foot stomping might also work ;)

Well there is a simple rule to keeping a happy marriage going.
  1. You should find a woman that enjoys your hobbies with you,
  2. You should find a woman that is a good cook,
  3. You should find a woman that you can trust and share your feelings with,
  4. You should find a woman that is fantastic in bed,
  5. Last and the most important thing is that you must never, NEVER let these 4 women meet each other.

My wife bought me a Mavic Pro for Christmas, and now she wants one for our son! Sadly, she refuses to fly any of my old quads, even though she's perfectly capable.

My beautiful wife bought me my M2P as well as my 7.8 crystal sky!!! She got special treatment that night. Lol

My good lady wife bought my M2P for our 35th wedding anniversary, CS & mount are for Christmas. She does support me with my hobby, but like my post #3, it’s all right for her to buy them for me but I wouldn’t dare go out & buy without her permission.

She does alright out me also;)

Roll on the 25th:):)
