I'm of the understanding the new firmware doesnt allow flights without enough light?
As my Mini is still in it's box,can anyone verify this?If so,am I able to get the old Djifly app back before I activate my Mini?
I would really like to play around in low light ....

Just updated mine and it says low light inside the house but it also allow for take off on Att mode as there is no gps.

From the firmware release notes.

  • Added feature that disables takeoff when the GPS signal is weak (GPS <8) and the environment light is not sufficient. This feature can be disabled manually (requires DJI Fly v1.0.4 or later).

Yes, you can revert to an older firmware using DJI Assistant 2 For Mavic.

As others have stated, the weak GPS and low light lock-out can be 'unlocked'. I have actually done this myself.

Cheers!

Select the red warning and unlock, otherwise use DJI Assistant for Mavic to roll back firmware

Side topic: update all your batteries.
How are you unlocking the low light disable?

I turned off almost all my lights to test. I get "(red dot) Unable to take Off (Code 30064)" No Unlock option. Any ideas? Android and Fly.004

Update your fly app to 1.0.4. You could download it straight from dji website.
