Active Track while skiing downhill

Hello,

Relatively new pilot. Loving the MA2.
I was wondering how the drone would behave in tracking me while skiing downhill. Would it lower its altitude while following me or would it remain in same altitude ?

glad you asked that. I'm anxious to hear the reply's ..I've seen videos that make me think that it will ascend and descend. I hadn't thought that it would.

It will go up and down in altitude. But check or maximum distance setting, or once you hit that limit the drone will just stop and hover.

But there is a lot of great off-piste terraine in the world. . . .

True, but in France the entire 3 Vallees region is a NFZ, so that includes the off piste. I appreciate that in Canada & the USA, the resorts are much larger, but my example above could be where everywhere is heading
