I had looked into this awhile back for a few clients.
Was wondering if anyone had any experience with this set up.

Couldn't you just purchase a Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual, problem solved. Maybe I'm missing something, but if I remember correctly it has both the regular and thermal cameras (as in "dual"), as well as some other goodies like searchlight, speaker and other accessories. They aren't cheap, but I'm sure you can still find them out there. They use pretty much all of the accessories as the Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom. Not trying to be a smart a$$, just wanted to mention it in case you weren't aware of them.

We make a Mavic 1/2 Triple mount that can be used for a Flir VUE (or other) battery and lighting.
Available on ebay:
DJI Mavic 2 Triple Mount for-GoPro-Sequoia-FLIR-Lighting-Action 2 NEW VERSION

Correct buying the Enterprise thermal is the best choice thats what I did, however if you are a builder we give a choice
