Advice for new drone buyer? $500 and photography interest

MP is the best drone for me as hobbyist in the field of aerial photography.

First of all what you think you need will change imediately once you learn how to fly a drone My suggestion would be buy a spark Watch a boatload of YouTube videos learn to fly. And if you are serious photographer You will purchase at least P4P ( at the time of this writing lol). Through my humble experience I have no clue what I wanted when I started flying drones. Lol.

They're both excellent. Read the previous responses. Now is a great time to purchase though because of the imminent release of the Mavic Pro II in a couple weeks. Prices are dropping on the Mavic Pros.

I'm about to take the plunge. There seem to be many used bundles I can buy used (Phantom SE/Pro ) for about $500. What models and accessories should I look for? I prefer to buy lightly used, do you disagree with that?

What would I, could I, bet if i bumped my target price to $700?

I would recommend buying new. Just got my MA Combo from B&H Photo at $999 free shipping and no sales tax if shipped outside of New York. They also included an extreme scandisk 128gig for free.
