Thanks

Yes. Each one must be Force Closed so they are not resident in memory nor launched at the same time. There is actually an onscreen message that pops up within Lichti informing one that DJIG04 must be closed for Lichti to to work properly.

Thanks. I think im gona give it a try anyways. Im not happy to use thirdparty soft, but if dji cant or do not want provide waypoints, there is no other choice

If it is waypoints that you are after then Litchi is the way to go. Another advantage is you will have a second way to control your Mavic if Go 4 has a problem.

You seems to know Litchi... Tell me, what does "Smart Return Home" in its settings?

From the Lichti Manual
"Smart Return to Home: Enables/disables the Smart Return-To-Home (RTH) feature. When it is enabled, aircraft will request to go home when remaining battery is only enough for completing the go-home action. "

Be careful when planning a Litchi waypoints mission. Don't make it too long or venture out too far. Litchi will continue the mission if connection with the RC is lost and if some unexpected winds (or obstacles) are encountered it may not make it back.

RTH is not triggered on connection lost?

Its is not. Thats why the last waypoint needs to be near your Home Point . Mission is uploaded to the Mavic and it carries out that mission even when no connection to the Remote Controller is present.
Low Battery Return to Home is though as I recall.

RTH is not triggered on connection lost?
No. Unless it has changed (have not used it for a while), Litchi will continue the mission if connection to the RC is lost. Some see it as a feature, but it can lead to a lost drone. If it doesn't make it back your only hope of finding it (if you don't have a tracker on it) if the battery is still alive (and connected) is to retrace the route and regain a connection good enough for Find my Drone to work.

A good analogy would be a WW2 submarine mission. It leaves port, communication is spotty or lost, and you hope they make it back. If not, the search area is too vast for a successful recovery.

I forgot to mention that and it is an excellent idea. Even if your RC never regains connection it should return home (if all else is working properly). I also set my first waypoint to a spot just before I want to start recording so I can pause and check my camera settings.

Actually it can lead to a lost drone if the last waypoint is not near the Home Point. It can lead to a drone returning if the last waypoint IS near the Home Point.
I have lost connection on a few missions and the Mavic returned right to its last waypoint. The first time this happens is worrisome.

Well, it could be user option in settings - on rc signal lost RTH or Continue mission...
Just a checkbox and the user decides...

And the 5D button is customizable? Can one enable / disabke proximity sensors?

The 5D button is customizable within a set of choices. I don't think sensor on/off is one of the choices available.

You could disable the sensors before you take off but I am uncertain if you can after the mission starts. You should fly a waypoint mission like you have no anti-collision sensors. Odds are your Mavic will be pointed one direction and flying another so sensor protection will be iffy at best.
