One of the features I was excited about when I upgraded from my P3P was the portrait orientation shooting allowing for panorama's to be made. here is my first one done with my mavic

No, its actually a series of 5 bracketed HDR imaged merged into a panorama using photomatix for the HDR and Photoshop for the panorama merge

So would you be willing to let me in on a few secrets on how you did the panoramic with the mavic? i plan on trying some tomorrow over Houston since we are here for the week and i have yet to have time to fly with the rain and so on!!!

What is the horizontal and vertical fov of the Mavic ?
(DJI says fov is 78,8° but I think this must be the diagonal)
Important to know it for making panoramas in portrait mode !

I put the camera into portrait mode, keep it idle in one place and use the AEB 5 shot. I move the mavic to the left just a little but each series of shots overlapping the previous scene. For processing I create HDR images of each series and then merge them in photoshop as a panorama
