Air 2 for recreational use in Australia – to register, or not to register?

I’ve recently purchased a Mavic Air 2 for recreational use here in Queensland. One of my hobbies is making home videos, not monetised.
Should I register it, or is it not necessary?

You don’t need to register yet unless used for business or services.

Registration for sport/recreational pilots starts in March 2022 and is compulsory from May 30th 2022 for all aircraft above 250-grams unless flown exclusively at CASA registered model flying sites. Cost is yet to be determined.
