Air 2 ND filters supplied by DJI

An idle query..
Why do DJI supply very high ND filters in the AIr 2 fly more package, are they expecting everyone to do long exposure shots, maybe I'm missing something, but I did not even know ND256 existed? I'd prefer to see 4/8/16

I thought the same. Even in extreme lighting conditions, I never needed more than ND64 for 30 fps video

I thought it was a brilliant idea, forcing us to buy DJI’s ND 4/8/16; but then I’m thinking that Polar Pro must be liking the high ND filters in the bundle, too. ;-)

Location matters. I live at almost one mile high where the Sun blazes. In many instances an ND 4 or 8 simply wouldn’t stop down the exposure enough. ND 32 works like a charm. Not sure what I’ll use the 256 for except for cinematic shots of fast moving water. Still learning and having fun doing so. Happy flying???
