Air 2 Unwanted Zoom Quetion

I bought my Air 2 back in May shortly after the release and love it.

Wondering why when take a picture vs shoot video it creates a zoom? I have noticed if I go to video, it seems to do a digital zoom (crop) of 25%. If I shoot a Hyperlapse it is another 25%. This is aggravating when doing a TimeLapse of the sun and then trying to add a video or photo from the same position. Is there anything that I can do to make them all the same so edits are clean.

Stabilized video often has a crop, this is how the software is able to correct any shakiness. (of course the physical gimbal itself does a lot of work there too)

Now that you ask that, it could be me. I had photos set for 4x3 and the video probably defaults to 16x9.

This is normal. Even your phones camera does the same thing.

Now that you ask that, it could be me. I had photos set for 4x3 and the video probably defaults to 16x9.

16 x 9 is a wider view than 4 x 3 - so the video should be wider than when in photo mode.
