Air 2s 1” Sensor - Is It For Real?

As we all know (hopefully) by now, the Mavic Pro 2’s 1” sensor doesn’t use all the sensor when taking video, because of overheating issues. What a disappointment that was!

Is DJI cheating the sensor on the Air 2s the same way? I am curious to know if anyone has technically analyzed this yet?
