I always have BRDRC CPL filter attached to my Air 3 and yes, sometimes I'm getting the "Wide-Angle Lens Attached" and cannot take panorama photos.
Some local people told me, it might happen when you have the CPL filter attached and what you should try is to make sure the gimbal is not pointing down BEFORE you power on the drone and the drone do the self calibration. Perhaps the drone detects the filter not based on weight but the torque needed to rotate the gimbal? that might explain why we get intermittent error, since if the gimbal is pointing down, it will need more torque if the CPL filter is attached compared to the stock lens guard.
I have a smiliar lens on my Air 3. With firmware .1000 I never had that warning. With .1200 I got the wide lens message inside or outside the house. Back then I told dji the problem, they said that can't be from firmware and sent me a free nd filter to shut me up ) Now that I have .1500 modded from DH, didn't had time to test the drone outside but inside I had no problem.
