Air 3 transmission problems post gimbal repair

I have my Air 3, repairs are completed. the gimbal and drone are back to full functionality, however, the transmission of the video log continues to be a puzzle to me, there is no transmission from the aircraft to the RC2. I have done all the usual restarts and firmware updates and re-pairing aircraft to the controller. it remains unchanged. not even the gimbal SN is showing up under my profile. could this be an effect of a fault in the Ptz transmission cable? or is this a coding issue like with the Air 2 when you replace the gimbal? If so I am screwed because they still do not have the necessary components online to do a gimbal calibration through Python, as far as I understand it the product code is still not available.
