Airplane mode

I use an iPhone 7 plus with my Mavic, and I will almost immediately loose image transmission (not control of the drone) unless I put my phone in airplane mode. Anyone know why?

Just try the lightning cable that came with your iPhone and pop it in the USB connector at the base of the controller. Remember to take out the short DJI cable as you cannot have both connected at the same time.

See what happens.

I go between a 7 Plus and an iPad 4 Mini + cellular and have never had an issue NOT putting my iOS device in Airplane Mode after 94 flights. I use a premium Anker cable (Amazon.com: Anker PowerLine+ Lightning Cable (3ft) Durable and Fast Charging Cable [Double Braided Nylon] for iPhone, iPad and More(Red): Cell Phones & Accessories - non-affiliate link) though.

No issue, strange, are you having the same issue?

The standard cable and some other third party cables are prone to interference so I no longer use the standard DJI cable. I actually use a shorter version of the Anker cable above.
