Android Tablets for A2S

I'm on the verge of taking my Part 107 exam. In anticipation to being ready for work, I'd like to know what is the most common, best tablet to use, along with the A2S.
I have already an RC Pro controller but, it is my understanding that, you cannot run external apps on it for things like mapping.
Should I go with an Android tablet or Apple?
Briefly looking at the Dronebase website, there seems to be more apps geared towards Android rather than Apple?
I plan to start out looking for jobs with Dronebase, etc., to build experience.

I love the Tripltek 8 Pro for the brightness, even in full sun, and the large size for my old eyes.

I'd suggest looking into the Tripltek 8. A real Android workhorse that was designed with drones in mind. The brightest display of any tablet. I purchased mine directly from Tripltek and couldn't be more pleased with their customer service.
