Angeles Crest Mountains?

Hey everyone!

Does anyone know if we can fly in the Angele Crest mountains? Looking at the area from Route 2 in La Cañada Flintridge up towards Mt. Wilson.

I called the FAA and the Forest service and didn't get a clear answer.

It is National Forest. It just wasn't 100% clear. Thank you for the link. I called the FAA and the Angeles Forest Service. The FAA said that as long as we're following the FAA rules and respecting the Forest Service rules, it's fine. The Forest Service (who were rude) said, essentially, no... except that they didn't ACTUALLY say no. They tried to say no without saying no, translation, it's not illegal as long as you follow the rules and don't fly over wildlife or a declared protected wilderness area.
