Anomalies during a waypoint mission

Hi,
I am using a DJI Mini 5 Pro and I flew a mission planned with Litchi (new version with KMZ). I do not understand why the drone stops for a long time at the discontinuity points of the flight plan. While reviewing the flight logs (with Phantomhelp), it almost seems as if the drone temporarily loses connection with the remote controller, even though it was flying quite close to it and the signal was always 100%. What is also confusing is that when analyzing the same flight data with AirData, these warnings or anomalies do not appear at all.

Do you have any suggestions or guidance on how to further investigate this issue?

Thank you.

I just wondered why you didn’t ask this in the Litchi section? Not everyone looks outside the section where their interests lie.

He has already inquired about this in the Litchi forum. His Mini 5 Pro momentarily stops several times during the flight. The flight log includes 29 "Home point updated" messages and numerous "Downlink Restored" messages despite the fact that he did not update his home point and was less than 650 feet away from the drone during the mission. I suggested that he posts his flight log here hoping that someone such as @Meta4 would have a look to see if he can help us understand why his Mini 5 Pro was behaving this way.

hi,

Did you run the DJI Fly and Litchi together in the controller? or control it with Litchi all the way? Does Litchi provide the waypoint KMZ file for download? it seems that there may be problem Litchi program logic but the drones seems to work fine.

I had a look but couldn't come up with anything helpful for this one.

I planned the mission in Litchi Hub and downloaded the KMZ. Then I flew it using only the DJI Fly app in waypoint mode.

So, do you think the drone did not have any communication issues? Why do I see a lot of “Home Point Updated” and “Downlink Restored” messages in PhantomHelp, but I cannot find those messages in AirData?

I went over the data days ago and saw what's there, but because it's an automated mission we can't see what's causing things to happen like we could if you were flying the drone.
Airdata and Phantomhelp always display things differently, so that's no mystery.
The downlink restored messages show that the controller was losing downlink and not getting the video feed from the drone, but never lost the uplink - the control inputs from the controller.

Ok thank you.

hi,

I got it now.

I had accessed your Litchi Hub but wasn't able to download it as kmz (I can see the parameter of the flight fine).

Let's see if we can work something out from there.

one more thing:

During the flight, was the view in controller fine and smooth? was the recording of video normal?
Yes, the flight area was clear and the radio connection was strong at all times. I have attached the KMZ file above, you can extract it, and inside you will find the WPML file if you want to take a closer look. Thank you.
