Now I understand that the ND filter is necessary by all means! Must have!

Tell me please, is ordinary ND filter more versatile than the polarization ND filter? Do I understand correctly, that in most situations, when the sun is too bright, just a ND filter is needed.
And the CPL / PL filters are more complicated filter in use that remove the glare and reflections from light reflecting surfaces. And such filters work only at a certain angle to the sun. Is that correct?

Beautiful location! Yes a filter might have helped in a few of the shots.

To try to answer your questions in order you asked them;
-generally yes. The primary use I have for polarized filters is removing/reducing surface reflections and seeing into clear water.
- yes, although you may use them to allow changes in other video settings also.
-a polarized filter must be installed and adjusted for the general angle of the sun relative to your camera direction and need to be adjusted if you significantly change the camera’s perspective relative to the sun.

Hope this helps. Experiment a bit. Remember that too much light is easier to fix in postprocessing than too little light.
