I know that there are antennas in the two front legs of the Mavic Air 2. Does anyone know if:

(a) one leg has the 2.4 GHz antenna and the other leg the 5.8 GHz antenna (if so, which leg is which).

(b) one leg has receiving antennas for 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz and the other leg has the transmitting antennas (if so, which leg is which).

(c) Other

Best,

Jim

I suppose they are both dual band antennas. I opened the radiocontroller on this video (I'm sorry, only in italian) and for that I suppose they are similar on the drone. Minute 6:27
They work in diversity mode.

Thanks for the info. I'm doing antenna mod on my remote and didn't know if I needed a 2.4 and a 5.8 antenna.. I'll just settle with 2 2.4 antennas now. IMG_20210324_192001.jpgIMG_20210324_192631.jpg

Remember to disable the 5.8GHz on the drone.
And pay attention on using a long cable if it is not good you loose all the power in the cable itself.
