I am currently in China actually, going to purchase my first Mavic Air 2 or Mavic Mini from the Shenzhen flagship store on Saturday. I should return to Birmingham some time early next year. I assume there must be enthusiast clubs in the UK's second city, right?
Also, any quick tips on which of the above two drones I should pick for my first one? I'm leaning towards the Air 2, but I'm concerned about regulations for overseas travel. Is it a big problem in your experience? For example, holidays to Spain, Italy, Greece etc... Is there an EU-wide permit or do you have to apply separately? If you are careful and don't do anything daft, does anyone even care if your drone is over 250g???
