Any Law enforcement operators ?

Question for any LE operators if they did the 107 or if they just operate under the authority of there employer ?

I am not in law-enforcement officer but I would imagine any employer including law-enforcement would require part 107 for legal and insurance purposes. I may be oversimplifying this but I think it would be the same as operating a law-enforcement automobile without a valid drivers license. I could of course be wrong.
