I was wondering if there is anyone around the Morehead City, Beaufort area in this forum. After buying this Mavic 2, I found out that the state and possibly local areas have rules about where you can take off and land. Never even thought about that. I understand at least most of the FAA rules but am not sure about State rules. So, I would like to talk with someone in the area about all the rules and possibly find someone to fly with on occasion. Right now I'm kind of scared to take off from anywhere but my yard or maybe my boat in warmer weather! And, as far as I know, it is pretty hard to tell what is state, county, private land. Maybe you have some tricks that will let you know.
