Any way to test an RC231 (RC-N1) without a drone ?

Just picked up a used one and don't yet have my drone. I notice it doesn't "beep" when powered up. Is that normal? Any way to test it to make sure it's not bad?

I will just plug it to a computer and try to reload firmware with DJI Assistant. Also you can download the DJI simulator and use the control. Try find a friend with a drone to test it if you want to be 100% sure.

The true is hard to have an RC came bad. They are bullet proof.
