Anybody know of a Mavic Pro pad holder that latches the pad in place as opposed to a spring loaded retainer?

I have a Huawei M5 8.4 inch pad, and I bought a pad holder for it. However, the width of the pad is about 4.5 inches, and the spring retaining mechanism isn't stretched enough to place an adequate force on it. I also recently bought a Katana, and there is a really nice designed latch that holds the device in place.
Anybody know of such a pad holder?

The pad is 5" X 8.25". It will not fit in the RC arms.

Following the example on the video you provided, I discovered that removing the screws wasn't necessary! I just hacked at it with a garden variety utility knife!

My pad is 8 3/8 inches wide, might work with up to a 8 1/2 inch pad!

This is going to save a lot of BS! Now I need to modify the shade hood. Merely some more cutting with a utility knife and some velcro!

The next time I'm in Delaware, I'll take you out to lunch!

I just got it and so far the weather hasn't been cooperating. For what I read on this forim people really like them.
