Anyone else waiting on batteries? UGH

Like many here, I didn't order the "fly more combo" because I knew I'd just throw the bag away, so I ordered extra batteries. When I added everything to the cart (the drone last week Thursday along with the batteries) it advised that I should separate the orders to get the drone faster, so I did that.

Well, I got my drone Monday night, and with checking my battery order it went out Monday and had an estimated delivery of today (Friday). A check today of my tracking # shows they shipped my extra batteries via DHL and they are still in China!! WTF!! They have been sitting in customs with no progress.

It's been extremely frustrating only having one battery! I know I should have just ate the price of the bag and went with the combo, but I don't see why they wouldn't have spare batteries ready to go after the long wait for the product launch and with them knowing that everyone is going to need them.

Today I flew for 25 minutes, went to the car to charge, and by the time the battery was charged (an hour or so) it was raining. I don't know how anyone could own one of these with just one battery!!

I ordered the FM kit and don't want the bag, but I'll sell it on ebay making the FM kit cost a little less.

I was going to order the batteries separate also, but changed my mind at the last minute. Sounds like I made the right choice buying the package. Sorry for your luck. Hope the batteries arrive soon.

Same here. I actually ordered the fly more kit after the drone on Sunday and DHL sent me a tracking number on Monday. It sat all week in Hong Kong and finally cleared customs today and is on the way to the US. The tracking online still shows it will be delivered today but I called and the DHL rep said it's in flight now and I'll get it Tuesday. My M2P was sent Fedex and got here in 3 days.

SO it looks like our packages were in the same lot. There must have been a whole lot of batteries in that load.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they had some kind of arrangement with DHL where they can create the shipping label after folks order and fufill as they have stock. That’s why I think you see things still sitting in China.

DJI continues their great tradition of having the absolute lowest standards of customer service worldwide and they continue to get away with it cause they know they can!

I will have a custom case made by GPC cases similar to the one I had made for my Mavic Air.
It will hold the Bird unfolded along with remote with Crystalsky attached.
I don't like to constantly have to fold / unfold the bird which allows for faster deployment and puts far less wear and tear on moving parts.

Not cheap, but excellent quality. I love it and have no regrets.

That is exactly what I want! M2P unfolded, R/C with Ipad Mini 4 attached w/cable so I'm ready to fly at anytime while in the Jeep.

I see they have several cases for mavics but can't find how to have one "custom" made to my specs. Can you tell me how to request it?

The price included a set up fee, the case, foam interior and shipping. Pretty reasonable considering it was a custom one-off.

I bought an HPRC case that was made this way for my P3P and it was about $250 so yeah, $220 for taylor made case for the M2P is very reasonable.

Hi, Same thing with me here. But with me, it was with 2 Fly More packages. it said it would be here 2 days ago. Yesterday it said it would be here by the end of the day. Nothing came. Checked this morning with the shipper. notices changed, no info on items just said check later. So I called them and was told it was stuck in customs. It's not DJI fault this time! on our side. As far as a Mavic 2 pro case, has anyone try to make their own custom case? How else can you really get one with everything you want or need in it? I have made a few and I think it's better then what I can buy that I have seen out there. SO FAR! I am doing one right now for the new M2P. It will cost me a total of under $40 to build due to the smaller size I a trying. I hope we all get our goods soon.30+ mins are better than nothing I always say! Happy & Safe flying to all.

WoW, That's a bummer! I really feel for you. I am pretty **** lucky. I passed on my 2 older mavis pro to my son. I have had so much fun with it that I sometimes it keeps me up. I got both the Pro and the Zoom and it came with one battery each, So I have close to an hour of airtime and I can't really complane. When I hear people like yourself who have not even received their Mavic never mind the Acc or add-ons. I hope you get it soon. And when you do, Happy Flying you will forget all about the waite.

I guess you're in the US.
DJI appear to have prioritised the US market at the expense of europe and elsewhere.
A lot of us ordered during or just after the event and dont have drones yet despite the DJI claims.
