Anyone in Georgetown/Round Rock

Georgetown lake restricted airspace I believe are due to the airport over there. Tejas Park and Cedar Breaks as well as the lake itself I believe are controlled by US Army Corps of Engineers. I believe they generally ban drones unless otherwise stated by the regional commander.

I am just getting started, almost finished with classes. I am new to the area and somewhat unfamiliar with all the parks. I would like to have a drone friend who I could ask questions or tag along sometime and learn. I am a tiny bit older, widowed female if that makes a difference. Excited to be learning something new, I am in Georgetown
