Anyone in Georgetown/Round Rock

Georgetown lake restricted airspace I believe are due to the airport over there. Tejas Park and Cedar Breaks as well as the lake itself I believe are controlled by US Army Corps of Engineers. I believe they generally ban drones unless otherwise stated by the regional commander.

I am just getting started, almost finished with classes. I am new to the area and somewhat unfamiliar with all the parks. I would like to have a drone friend who I could ask questions or tag along sometime and learn. I am a tiny bit older, widowed female if that makes a difference. Excited to be learning something new, I am in Georgetown

I know this is a late response but if you need any help, I have been building FPV freestyle drone since 2015.
There’s not really a lot to learn when it comes to DJI as they pretty much fly themselves and is a closed systems, probably the biggest hurdle with DJI is learning the menu system and what everything does.
I’m in Georgetown as well but with all the new laws in play, I don’t really get out much and fly anywhere anymore, mostly in my front yard and occasionally go to a local school when it’s closed but I’m sure they will ban that as well too.
Anyways, if you need any help just let me know.
